The Melville Millionaires Junior Hockey Club will be hosting our 2022 Fall Showcase Friday, August 26th and concludes Sunday, August 28th in Melville, Saskatchewan. The Millionaires home arena “The Bank”, will be the venue for all scheduled camp events.
This event allows our Coaches & Scouting Staff to meet / evaluate Melville Millionaire prospects. This also provides you the opportunity to experience our program and develop an understanding of the professional environment we provide for our players. Players will be selected to advance to our pre-season games and then to regular season starting September 16th. Our Hockey Staff also use this opportunity to identify prospects for the future.
In addition to skills and competitive game sessions, players will participate in our Athletic Testing Combine. Players will receive written feedback regarding their testing scores and will be presented with “comparable data” of their peer group along with Melville Millionaire fitness standards. Our Athletic Testing Combine is and integral part of our Player Development Process. This allows staff the opportunity to gauge players athletic ability, fitness progressions and assists in developing training pathways.
Our Fall Showcase will also feature an informative Speaker Session. This is an opportunity to learn more about our organization, the SJHL and in general we discuss pathways for advancing in hockey. Scheduled to speak is Vegas Golden Knights Scout, Brad McEwen, Trailblazer Hockey Advisor CEO, Wayne Kosior and Yorkton Mauler Head Coach, Darrell Mann.
We realize players have many options when considering a junior program. We feel our staff, facilities, location and professional standards allow our organization to be at the top of list when planning your junior hockey career. There will be limited space available and we recommend that you register early to secure your opportunity.
Registered participants will receive specific details on August 15th regarding expected arrival time, ice sessions and testing schedule.
Our organization works hard to improve to enable an elite playing experience.
