Busy Off Season

Although the Melville Millionaires are waiting for the ice to be back at Horizon Credit Union Centre, the Staff and Board of Directors have been busy.

Just like all aspects of society, the Covid 19 has forced the organization to develop many different plans as they prepare for the season.  Despite the uncertainty, the Millionaires continue to grow in a new direction.

Along with recruiting and the continuous player communication, the Millionaires are busy planning and improving in every aspect.  Team facilities are experiencing updates, inventory being completed, corporate sales on going and general plans for the upcoming season.  Team Management are still rounding out staff as they have yet to make official announcements regarding an Assistant Coach and Athletic Therapist. The team is developing a consistent “Covid Safe” protocol, that will enable players, staff and fans to enjoy hockey in a safe environment.

Plans are ongoing in regards to Power Skating and Skill Camps for minor hockey aged players.  Announcements will come in the next 10 days.

On July 29th team management  will be in Humboldt to set up the SJHL 2020-21 schedule.

Hockey fans can look forward to the introduction of the 2020 Player Signings.  Starting Thursday, July 7th the Melville Millionaires will be introducing a new player every Tuesday and Thursday.  The organization is very excited about the 2020 recruits and invite you to follow the news on our website.
