Millionaires Developing the Gold Standard in the CJHL

Despite having to work through unprecedented times, the Melville Millionaires continue to move forward to make many advancements on and off the ice. One of those projects is the Melville Millionaires Education Foundation. The Education Foundation is to assist players in furthering their education. The Foundation provides players financial assistance for players to take classes while they are playing for the Millionaires or once they complete their junior career and attend university / college.
“This is very exciting”, stated General Manager / Head Coach Mike Rooney. “There are many more details to announce in January 2022, but this is certainly an excellent opportunity for the players. There was a great deal of work put into setting up the program. Len Wassill has done a great job in securing titled sponsors and gathering the professional experts to assist in the development.”
“This takes the organization to another level”, added Rooney. “This is structured much the same way as the Major Junior (CHL) Education program. We believe this will be the Gold Standard of the CJHL.”
The Melville Millionaires Education Foundation will work in conjunction with the Melville Millionaires, but will operate with a different directorship. The Education Foundation is a registered Non-Profit that is to assist the players with education.
More details, including the Title Sponsors will be announced early in 2022.
