The Melville Millionaires are pleased to announce that, 20 year old forward, Jonathan Krahn has been named Captain of the hockey club for the 2021/22 SJHL season.
“I am extremely honored to be named the next Mils captain. I’m excited to continue and improve the tradition here in Melville and help bring the city a championship. I can’t wait to be back playing in front of all the Millionaires fans, alongside my teammates.” Krahn said.
The Chilliwack, British Columbia product has suited up in 46 career games in a Millionaires uniform since being acquired from the BCHL, scoring 15 goals, while adding 15 assists for 30 points.
“We are very pleased to name Jonathan captain of our group. He is a person of strong character and values. He communicates well and provides intelligent insight. Above all, he is a great teammate. I look forward to continuing to build our relationship”, stated Millionaires Head Coach and General Manager Mike Rooney.
Krahn and the Millionaires will begin preparations for the upcoming season when they begin main camp on August 30th.
