The Millionaires have acquired 2001 born defenceman, Jackson Bohan from a deal made with the Humboldt Broncos. Jackson will be headed to the Mills along with a 2022 5th Round Draft Pick in exchange for the Millionaires 2022 and 2023 2nd Round Draft Picks and Future Considerations. The, now 20 year old, blueliner spent the last 2 seasons with the Broncos where he was named to the SJHL All-Rookie Team in his 2019/2020 campaign. Bohan lead all 2001 born SJHL defenceman in points his rookie season after posting up 5 goals and 24 assists for a total of 29 points.
Here’s what Head Coach/GM Mike Rooney had to say about their latest transaction. “Jackson is a quality puck mover and point producer on the backend; along with being selected to the SJHL all rookie team in the 2019/2020 season, he fits the criteria that we were looking for. He’s going to fit our style of play very well and compliment our group in a big way.”
After being informed of the trade, Bohan stated to the Mills Media group that he is “beyond excited for this opportunity and can’t wait to meet the team and get started in Melville.”
