Following up Wednesday’s announcement, the Melville Millionaires have announced another goaltender signing. Hailing from Fairbanks, Alaska, USA, Keaton French will be joining the Mills heading into the 2021/2022 season. The 6’2”, athletic goaltender comes to Melville from the Colorado Springs Tigers AAA organization (NAPHL). French also spent time with the Fairbanks Ice Dogs (NAHL) and the Tri-City Storm (USHL) throughout the 2019/2020 season.
Here’s what Assistant Coach Daven Smith had for thoughts about French’s arrival: “I’m looking forward to Keaton getting here. Working with dedicated team players that have elite work ethics is rarely a negative experience, and that’s the kind of player he is. Compete is a need if you’re looking to fit in to our organization and there’s no shortage of that with Keaton.”
French will arrive in Melville, along with the others, in time for the Millionaires Main Camp which begins Monday, August 30th after the conclusion of Rookie Camp.
