Nicolas Samson - Northern Colorado Eagles USPHL
The Melville Millionaires are pleased to announce that they’ve signed 2002-born forward Nicolas Samson for the 2021/22 SJHL season.
Samson, a St. Hubert, Quebec product had 26 goals, 40 assists for 66 points in 48 games with the Northern Colorado Eagles (USPHL Premier) during the 2020/21 season.
“I’ve heard Melville is a nice little city, and I’m just excited to be continuing my hockey career with a great organization like the Millionaires,” Samson said.

Rylan Bruns - Lethbridge Hurricanes U18AAA
The Mils are excited to announce that 2003-born forward Rylan Bruns has signed with hockey club for the 2021/22 SJHL season. The rights to the Pincher Creek, Alberta product was acquired by the Mils from the Nipawin Hawks' earlier this month.
"I have heard nothing but great things about the Millionaires and beyond excited to have the opportunity to further my hockey career with such an awesome organization. I can't wait to meet the guys and get the season started", Rylan Bruns told Mills Media on Wednesday.
The 6 foot 2, 200-pound forward played parts of the last two season with the Lethbridge U18 AAA Hurricanes (AEHL) where he had 5 goals 6 assists for 11 points in 33 games while also compiling 34 penalty minutes. Dylan scored 20 goals, added 20 assists along with 61 pims placed during his U16 AAA season in 2018-19.

Charles-Thomas Larochelle - Champlain St. Lawrence Lions QCHL
The Melville Millionaires have signed forward Charles-Thomas Larochelle out of Quebec City, Quebec for the 2021/22 campaign.
The 2003-born forward comes to the Mils' out of the Champlain St. Lawrence Lions (QCHL) program where he spent the 2020/21 season, but they were unable to complete any of their game schedule.

Colby Ball - Sherwood Park Kings U18AAA
The Melville Millionaires are pleased to announce that another rearguard from Sherwood Park, Alberta will join the hockey club for the 2021/22 season.
2003-born defenceman Colby Ball has inked up with the Moneymen after spending the shortened 2020/21 season with the Sherwood Park Kings of the Alberta U18 AAA Hockey League.
With the Kings during the 2020/21 season, the 6-foot, 170 pounder had 2 goals and 4 points in 6 games. Historically he has produced points at all levels. Named Alberta U16AAA Best Defenceman in 2018-19
Ball told Mils’ media, “I’m excited to make memories with the Millionaires’ and be a part of their great community.”

Austin Lusok - OHA Edmonton U18Prep
The Moneymen have announced they’ve inked up 6’3”, 170 lbs defenceman Austin Lusok for the 2021/22 SJHL season. “I describe myself as a good two-way defenceman, who moves the puck well which allows me to jump up in the rush offensively,” Lusok describing his game to Mils’ media.
The 2003-born product from Sherwood Park, Alberta had 4 goals, 2 assists for 6 points in 5 games with the OHA Edmonton U18 Prep team during the abbreviated 2020/21 campaign.
Previously with OHA Edmonton U18 Prep during the 2019/20 season, he had 22 points in 35 games.

Payton Kostyshyn - Battlefords Stars U18AAA
The Melville Millionaires are pleased to announce the signing of local product and 2003-born defenceman Payton Kostyshyn for the 2021/22 SJHL season.
“I’m really looking forward to this next year, playing back in my hometown, and with the team I grew up watching as a kid,” Kostyshyn told Mils’ Media.
The 6’2, 215lbs defender from Melville spent the shortened 2020/21 campaign as captain of the Battlefords Stars of the Saskatchewan U18 AAA Hockey league, where he was pointless in 3 games. In the previous year with the Stars, he compiled 4 goals 5 assists for 9 points in 44 games while registering 34 penalty minutes.

“Payton is a strong defending Dman who has ability to make a good first pass to set the offensive attack. PK can flat out shoot the puck hard and a knack of getting puck through traffic. There is an offensive upside in his game. He is physically so strong and will be very effective once he acclimates to the junior game. Liam Burns - Edmonton SSAC U18AAA Athletics
The Melville Millionaires are excited that they inked forward Liam Burns for the 2021/22 season.
The 2003-born forward originally from Langley, BC spent the past 2 seasons with the SSAC Athletics U18 (Edmonton) of the Alberta U18 AAA Hockey League, where in 4 games, he posted 2 goals and 2 assists for 4 points.
“I’m looking forward to making that jump to the next level of my hockey career, and I believe the Mils are great place to take that next step.” Burns told Mils media. The Mils would like to welcome Liam and his family into the Millionaires organization and to the City of Melville.

Matt Strilets - Shawnigan Lake U18 Prep (CSSHL)
The Melville Millionaires are pleased to announce the signing of a 2003-born defenceman from British Columbia. The Moneymen have inked up Courtenay, BC product Matthew Strilets for the 2021/22 SJHL season.
“I’m looking forward to be a part of the community of Melville and become a Millionaire, I’ve heard nothing but good things,” Strilets commented.
Strilets played the 2019/20 season with the Shawnigan Lake School U18 Prep (CSSHL) where he had 5 goals and 5 assists along with 36 pims

Carter McKay - Yorkton SeCon U18AAA Maulers
The Melville Millionaires’ will be adding some local flavor for the upcoming 2021/22 SJHL season. The Mils have signed 2005-born forward and Melville’s own Carter McKay.
McKay said, “Playing in hometown is a dream come true, and I know that Melville is a great hockey community.”
McKay, who was an auto-protect of the Mils from 2020 SJHL Draft, suited up with the Yorkton SeCon Maulers (Sask U18 AAA) in the 2020/21 season where he had 2 goals & 5 assists for 7 points in 7 games.
Before that, he played in 52 career games with the Melville U15 AA Millionaires, where he compiled 44 goals, 53 assists for 97 points.

The Melville Millionaires are pleased to announce the signing of 2003-born forward Jake Watson for the 2021/22 SJHL season.
Watson, a Vernon BC product spent the abbreviated 2020/21 season with the CSSHL’s Rink Hockey Academy Kelowna U18 Prep, where he had 2 goals, 6 assists for 8 points in 7 games while also compiling 24 penalty minutes.
“I’m honored to have the opportunity to play for the Millionaires’ and I hope to provide an impact on not only the team itself but the community of Melville as well,” Watson said.
