Canterra Seeds Saskatchewan Player of the Week: Caden Drury, Melville Millionaires (from Carrot River, Sask)

There has hardly been a shift so far this year for Drury that he has not dominated in all three zones, and among the top-line centremen in the league, he has to be considered one of, if not the best. To go with a league-leading amount of points, he has averaged close to 20 minutes a night and has been a plus player every game.

Bourgault Forward of the Week: Ryan Roethke, Melville Millionaires

It is still early, but Melville’s Ryan Roethke has been a more clinical finisher in the SJHL than anyone else. Playing on the right side of Caden Drury on the Mils’ top line has been a perfect fit, and with three multi-goal games out of four Melville victories, it is clear that the Minnesotan’s transition to the league is going very well. The Mils have not only won all their games but have done so in style, and Roethke is a big reason for it.
