Mils Pair Earns Player of the Week Honors

SuperU Defenceman of the Week: Boston Harkness, Melville Millionaires

Harkness is already only 13 points away from his breakout, career-high season total from a year ago in 45 fewer games, and has been immense in all three zones for the Mils so far. He’s on a run of three multi-point outings in a row, while taking care of his own end, and it would be a considerable challenge to find a tighter lock for the SJHL’s Viking Cup roster than Melville’s captain.
Weekly Stats: 3 GP – 1G, 5A – 6 PTS

SaskMilk Rookie of the Week: Noah Sinagowitz, Melville Millionaires

It has been a bit of a journey for the Millionaires to find their No. 1 goaltender so far this year, and while it might still be a work in progress, given they have iced three rookies in the sticks already this campaign, Sinagowitz made a great case this past weekend. Wins over Flin Flon and Yorkton will endear him to fans, and his puck tracking and skating ability have already been shown to be elite in this league.
Weekly Stats: 2-0-0-0, 73 saves, 2.50 GAA, .936 SV%
